Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation recently handed out honors to several members of its Quality Contractor Network (QCN).
Lebanon Heating and Air Conditioning in Wilson County, A/C Plus in Rutherford County and Mid-State Air Conditioning and Heating in Williamson County were all selected by the co-op as winners of the MTEMC 2008 Award of Excellence.
To be eligible for the award, contractors have to demonstrate excellent customer service and meet the highest standard of installation requirements set forth by the program.
Middle Tennessee Electric and TVA developed the QCN list as part of their energy right Heat Pump Program, where the cooperative helps members finance the installation of a new heat pump system. The contractors install the units and provide servicing and maintenance.
In the past five years, more than 5,600 existing and new homes across MTEMC’s service area have received services under this program.
