Middle Tennessee Electric crews will be working to improve electric service in Lebanon Aug. 18, which will require outages in parts of the city.
The scheduled work will require about 165 commercial businesses to be without power. The scheduled times for the outages are set to begin at 12 a.m. and last until 4 a.m.
Crews will work to double power line voltage and replace aging transformers along West Main Street from east of Carver Lane to west of Hartman Drive.
Specifically, the affected locations will include Baddour Parkway, Rollingwood Drive, Barb Court and Bay Court.
Should weather become inclement, the work will be postponed until Aug. 20.
