Residential

Building on a successful history of providing energy initiatives and solutions to our residential members in Williamson, Wilson, Rutherford and Cannon Counties.

Things have changed quite a bit since we first sent electricity to a handful of Middle Tennessee homes in the mid 1930s. Then electricity was a luxury. Now it is a necessity.

But now, in addition to reliable and inexpensive power, many residential members look to their cooperative for energy options and efficiency ideas...and that's the purpose of this page.

Here, you will find information about our unique partnership with the Department of Energy's flagship program, Energy Star. You'll find information, including incentive packages MTEMC offers, on new homes,  water heating and heating and air conditioning; and you can perform some do-it-yourself energy evaluations through our on-line home energy evaluation and cost calculators.

And, of course, if you want someone to call and talk to about your home energy issues, that's what your local energy experts are there for.
