Rates

The rates MTEMC members pay for residential service rank among the lowest in the nation...in fact, MTEMC's residential rate is more than 25 percent below the national average.

MTEMC charges 8.173 cents per kilowatt-hour for the first 800 used and 6.936 cents for each kilowatt-hour consumed beyond the first 800. A basic monthly customer charge of $9.79 and a TVA Fuel Cost Adjustment is also factored into a residential bill. (These rates are effective April 1, 2008.)
