In-Home Energy Evaluation
MTEMC, in partnership with TVA, offers the In-Home Energy Evaluation for members who are willing to pay $150. Members can get the $150 back if they follow the energy evaluation recommendations from a certified home evaluator. You will be reimbursed 50% of the installation cost up to $500 if recommended improvements are completed within 90 days.
- Call 1-877-490-9325 to arrange for an in-home evaluation by an MTEMC/TVA-certified evaluator.
- The certified employee will evaluate your home and create a report outlining the potential energy-efficiency modifications and available incentives or financing.
- Improvements must be made by a member of the Quality Contractor Network.
- All home improvements need to be completed within 90 days. A home performance review will be completed to finalize the paperwork.
- You will receive a credit on your electric bill after submitting your receipts for completed work.
- To qualify for an In-Home Evaluation, you must own your property and have electric service at your address for at least one year.
